Dr. Amy Kircher—coach, strategist, facilitator, and lifelong systems thinker. My work sits at the intersection of leadership, complexity, and human decision-making, shaped by more than two decades of experience leading large-scale initiatives across public health, higher education, national security, and research ecosystems
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with leaders, teams, and organizations navigating uncertainty—whether responding to crises, building new strategies, or aligning diverse stakeholders around a shared direction. From advising senior government and university leaders to designing and leading complex, multi-partner initiatives, I’ve seen firsthand that progress doesn’t come from having all the answers. It comes from clarity, alignment, and the ability to move forward—intentionally and at the right pace.
Today, I bring that experience into leadership, professional and life coaching as well as facilitation and strategic planning. As a Certified Professional Coach, my coaching is grounded in self-awareness, energy, and practical action. I help individuals and leaders understand where they are, identify what’s getting in the way, and create momentum that feels authentic and sustainable—not forced.
Whether I’m coaching one-on-one, facilitating conversations for teams, or supporting strategic planning efforts, my approach is the same: listen deeply, ask the right questions, bring structure to complexity, and help people move forward with confidence and purpose.
My work focuses on physical health, nutrition, and long-term well-being, shaped by both academic training and real-world experience. My passion for fitness and health led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s degree in Public Health Nutrition, where I developed a strong foundation in human movement, nutrition science, and population health. Alongside my academic work, my research career has focused on aging, longevity, and how lifestyle behaviors influence health across the life span.
Over the past five years, I’ve had the opportunity not only to train for and compete in marathons, HYROX events, and Ironman races, but also to study what it truly takes to perform, recover, and stay healthy in these demanding physical environments. My dual perspective has shaped how I think about physical health as something built gradually through everyday habits, adaptability, and not chasing quick results.
Through my work, I’ve come to firmly believe that physical well-being and mental well-being are deeply interconnected. Training the body builds resilience, clarity, and confidence that extend far beyond sport. As a coach, my goal is to help individuals understand their bodies, create sustainable habits, and build a relationship with health that supports both performance and long-term quality of life.
I bring this philosophy into coaching and guidance that is practical, evidence-informed, and personalized. Whether supporting endurance athletes, individuals seeking better health, or those navigating lifestyle change, my approach is grounded in education, intentional progression, and helping people move forward in a way that feels challenging but sustainable.
